With 23 years in college student affairs and 15 years in local middle and high schools, I create one-on-one relationships with young people and parents as they make the most exciting, but daunting, transition of their lives.

As the mother of two college grads, I have been up-close-and-personal with the FAFSA, the Common Application, and sent my kid off to study abroad. I have successfully loaded all of my 18-year-old daughter's most prized possessions into a Honda Fit. I've been on the receiving end of tearful midnight phone calls, and wiped my own tears as I watched the awarding of diplomas.
As both a military child and a military spouse, I attended 13 different schools before I left for college, and have worked with GI Bill benefits, Yellow Ribbon programs, and transcripts in foreign languages.
